Definitions
Administrator:
An individual authorized to manage an organization’s Dual Dash account, including managing users, creating scorecards, overseeing 1:1s, and accessing performance or behavioral data.
Customer:
The organization that has contracted with Dual Dash for Services.
Employee or User:
An individual authorized to use Dual Dash by the Customer, including Managers, Team Members, Executives, or other roles.
Platform Data:
Any data or content submitted to the Services by you, other users, or administrators.
Sensitive Data:
Workplace data that may be more personal in nature, including 1:1 notes, sentiment or stress feedback, and personality or communication assessments (such as DISC or StrengthsFinder).
You or Your:
Any person accessing or using the Services.
Data Ownership and Roles
Dual Dash is a business-to-business platform. The Customer (your employer) owns and controls the data within their account.
Dual Dash acts as a service provider (data processor) on behalf of the Customer.
This means:
- Your employer determines how the platform is used within their organization
- Dual Dash processes data to operate and improve the Services
Use by Minors
The Services are not intended for individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware of such data, we will delete it. If you believe this has occurred, contact us at privacy@dualdash.com.
Information We Collect
We collect information in the following categories:
1. Information You Provide
- Registration data: name, email, password, role, company, and profile settings
- 1:1 and coaching entries: meeting notes, goals, feedback, recognition
- Assessment data: DISC, StrengthsFinder, and other communication tools (optional)
- Uploaded files: KPIs, rosters, and other organizational dataInformation from Your Employer
2. Information from Your Employer
- Name, email, job title, manager, team structure
- Organizational hierarchy and reporting lines
- KPI benchmarks and role expectations
3. Usage and Device Data
- IP address, browser type, device type, operating system
- Feature usage, time spent, and interactions within the platform

How We Use Your Information
We use your information to operate the platform as a system of action for coaching and performance.
For Employees and Managers
- Display KPIs, scorecards, and expectations.
- Track behaviors like goal completion and meeting activity
- Support 1:1 conversations with context and prompts
- Provide insights based on role and activity
- Surface communication and coaching guidance
For Administrators
– Manage users, roles, and permissions
- Upload and manage organizational data
- View performance and sentiment data based on permission levels
- Understand platform usage and effectiveness
Platform-Wide
- Operate and improve the Services
- Develop new features and insights
- Provide support
- Maintain security and prevent misuse
We do not sell your personal information.
How Visibility Works
Dual Dash is designed for clarity, not surveillance.
Access to data is controlled by your organization and role:
- Employees typically see their own data
- Managers may see data for their team
- Executives and administrators may see broader or aggregated views
Some data, such as survey responses, may be aggregated to protect anonymity depending on how your organization configures the platform.
AI and Automated Insights
Dual Dash may use automated systems to generate insights, summaries, or coaching recommendations.These are designed to:
- Highlight trends
- Support better conversations
- Provide guidance based on patterns
- They are not used to make automated employment decisions and are intended to support human judgment, not replace it.
Aggregated and De-Identified Data
We may use data that does not identify you personally to:
- Improve benchmarks
- Understand performance trends
- Build new features
This data is anonymized and cannot be traced back to an individual.
Data Retention
We retain Platform Data:
- While your organization is an active customer
- As needed to provide the Services
- For a limited period after contract termination to allow data export
Sensitive data, such as 1:1 notes or sentiment feedback, may be retained or deleted based on your organization’s settings.
Data Security
We take steps to protect your data, including:
- Encryption in transit and at rest
- Role-based access controls
- Monitoring and logging of system activity
- Limiting internal access to authorized personnel
- No system is completely secure, but we work continuously to protect your information.

Data Location and Subprocessors
Dual Dash uses trusted third-party providers to host and operate the Services, such as cloud infrastructure and communication services.These providers process data on our behalf under strict confidentiality and security obligations.

If your organization connects third-party systems, such as HRIS platforms or other tools, data may be shared based on those integrations and permissions. We are not responsible for how third-party services handle your data. Please review their privacy policies.
